AI Readiness Assessment

This short snapshot helps you understand where your organisation currently sits in its AI in practice journey, and where focused support may be needed.

Ten questions, about three minutes. It is free, and we send you your results. Answer for the organisation as it actually is rather than as you intend it to be: a flattering score is of no use to anyone.

About three minutes

Ten questions. Eight on a four point scale, two multiple choice.

We send the results

A person reads your answers and writes up where you sit, usually within two working days.

No obligation

There is no charge and nothing to commit to. Keep the results and do nothing with them if you prefer.

What it asks

The full set, so you know before you start. The questions ask about things that either happened or did not: whether a decision was taken, whether guidance was given, whether anyone can see what is already being used. None of them ask how seriously you take AI, because a self-assessment built from that kind of question returns flattery.

Direction

Whether a decision has been taken, and whether anyone owns it.

  • Who currently drives the AI agenda in your organisation?
  • We have a clear and shared view of why AI matters for our organisation.
  • Leaders can confidently explain how AI supports our business priorities.

Current use

What is already happening, and whether anyone can see it.

  • AI tools are already being used by people in our organisation.
  • Leadership has visibility over how AI is being used today.

Manager capability

Whether the layer closest to the work can act on any of it.

  • Managers are confident translating AI ideas into day-to-day work.
  • Managers know where AI should, and should not, be applied.

Employee readiness

Whether people have both the guidance and the confidence to use it.

  • Employees have received clear guidance on using AI responsibly.
  • People feel safe experimenting with AI at work.
  • Which area feels most uncertain right now?

What you get back

A written read of where your organisation sits across leadership direction, manager capability and employee readiness, and the one or two things we would look at first. It is a conversation starter rather than a diagnostic: it will tell you which area is furthest behind, not what a programme should contain.

If it would be useful we will offer a free 45 minute briefing to talk it through, delivered into a leadership meeting you are already holding. You are free to say no and keep the results.
